Clay was outstanding from the start. From getting us into see houses quickly to helping us every step of the way. Clay is extremely knowledgeable on the whole buying process a was always available to answer any an all questions we had. What I like most is when clay didn’t know the answer I didn’t get a BS answer. He would say not sure but I’ll find out, an he did every time. Buying our first home was extremely stressful for my wife and I but Clay was awesome in helping us thru hurdles and making sure we were taken care of at every step an hiccup. I would highly highly recommend Clay an will definitely use him again should we purchase again down the road.

Clay was fantastic. He was the buyer for my home. Some buyers “stop working for you” once you’re under contract and only want to set up showings. Clay was very supportive, knowledgeable, and tactful from the first email inquiry through to the closing. 10/10.

My name is Pierre Etienne. My wife and I have lived in Enosburg Falls for 13 years until we got tired of the weather and decided to move to California. Finding a serious buyer with Clay's help was almost immediate but the sale turned out to be a complicated affair because we had ignored ecological constraints when we had a large shop built behind the house in 2011. This mistake was involuntary but correcting it, that is agreeing with the State of Vermont on a plan to restore the wetlands and pay an "after the fact" penalty took over 6 months. Clay supported the transaction during this entire period with no less than 9 addenda to the original sale and purchase agreement. During our winter stay to California, he did weekly visits to the house and fixed a few items on his own that could have caused problems, left unattended. During the entire time, Clay remained cheerful and supportive, provided excellent advice and always communicated clearly through texts, emails and phone calls. Bottom line: In my book (and I have lived through more than two dozens real estate transactions in my life) Clay is an exceptionally good real estate agent.

I have recently had three separate buying/selling experiences using real estate agents. I can honestly say that our experience with Clay was the best of the bunch. With Clay, it felt like we had a partner in the process. He was a great communicator and willing to help in any way we needed. In fact, we had a major issue during our move that left us in a bit of disarray. Clay told us not to worry and he took care of a couple remaining items with the house, on our behalf. As a seller in this transaction, I knew that I was paying a large amount of money as part of the process. With Clay, I felt that it was money well spent. Clay was recommended to us from a friend and I definitely would not only use him again but even recommend him to others looking for a home! We were treated as friends and not just like an agent looking for commission. He was patient, answered all our questions with real answers and even spotted and made notes/comments about things in homes we probably would’ve missed on our own. When viewing homes he researched the place we were visiting and never came across like he was just in it for his commission. Rather he seemed genuinely focused on making sure we found the perfect home for me.
